January 15, 2021:
There are several reasons why you may choose a wall mount for your tablet. In a retail setting, they can be used to provide information to customers or be used as a point of sale system. In such a case the StarTech Stand or the more adjustable Mount-It! Holder would be ideal choices due to their tamper-proof designs, their steel cases, and their ability to block certain buttons.
For home use, we have selected a number of options with different features depending on how you need to interact with your device. Models that keep the tablet flush with the wall, such as the ClayWare Pad Bracket, the Impact Mounts Bracket, and the Dockem Koala are good for sedentary activities like watching programs or reading recipes and instructions, however, if you need to frequently change position or interact with the screen then an adjustable option would be better. The CTA Digital 2-In-1 has articulating arms and three flexible joints, which allows the screen to be positioned at any angle, and can even be removed from the mount and used as a tabletop stand. The Arkon Heavy Duty and The Joy Factory MagConnect are two high-quality offerings made from durable materials, and provide plenty of adjustability, although, the latter will need a case that is specific for your size of tablet.

Moved the Impact Mounts Bracket forward a few slots — its users consistently highlight its simplicity, ease of installation, and affordability as favorable aspects of the product. It also helps that its slim design means it will take up minimal wall space. Added the Dockem Koala as a highly functional, inconspicuous model that cab be installed permanently or temporarily based on your preferences. Decided to drop the CTA Digital 2-in-1 in the rankings after discovering that several users have had to retighten the screws relatively often to keep the holder from drooping or sagging. Removed the Loctek Kitchen due to issues with availability. After discovering several reports of the hinges in the arm becoming loose (even after screw tightening), we eliminated the iKross White as well, as it appears this model may put tablet screens in jeopardy of sustaining damage.
