A studio desk helps you keep your recording gear organized and easily accessible. Whether you prefer a compact design or a large workspace, these options will meet your needs. Although we liked the AZ Workstations Summit’s sit-to-stand design, we removed it due to stocking issues. We replaced it with the AZ Studio Pro 88. The height doesn’t adjust, but this model is easier to move. We also excluded the Calico Designs Study. The screw holes did not align correctly, which could cause it to buckle under the weight of heavy equipment. Instead, we chose the Acme Furniture Eleazar. It is sturdy and more suitable for mixers, MIDI keyboards and other recording gear.

When evaluating the best studio desks, we included a versatile array of options to fit the needs and budgets of amateur dabblers just starting out to at-home professionals with the most complicated equipment to house.
The Studio RTA Producer easily took the top spot for the incredible amount of functional space for the price. It'll serve someone who already has a lot of gear to set-up, but is not cost prohibitive so that a user could invest in this model and allow themselves room to grow. Ease of assembly also helped to propel this model to the top , because even though assembly time is a small portion of the time you will spend with the product, difficult assembly can often result in a poorly constructed product due to user error.
The Z-Line Cyrus is a much simpler choice, but still ranks high for offering three tiers, including one of the widest keyboard trays amongst the more compact models, and handy cord-management holes on each level.
