The 7 Best Monthly Planners
This wiki has been updated 33 times since it was first published in January of 2017. You have a dentist appointment in three days, a client meeting next week, and it's your mother-in-law's birthday in two weeks. How do you remember all of that? Consider using one of these old-school monthly planners to keep track of important activities and events without having to stay glued to your smartphone or computer. Most also include handy specific-use pages, such as for contact info. When users buy our independently chosen editorial selections, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki.
Editor's Notes
July 22, 2019:
It seems like daily life is getting ever busier. To help manage the chaos, many people prefer a large paper calendar/planner over the small view available on a tablet or smartphone. A good planner lets you see an entire month at a time, and even shows dates for future months to make long-term planning easier. They need to have sufficient space for writing appointments and notes, and the cover should be reasonably durable to survive being stuffed in a bag.
In this update, we made sure all our selections were for 2019, and in some cases, both 2019 and 2020. We added a crosshatch-leather option, the Artfan Teal, because it's good looking, durable, and includes all the extras you want in a good planner, such as pages for contacts and notes.
