For a table that brings a lot of bang for your buck, look to the newly added Play Platoon 5 in 1, which comes with 130 blocks that include figures such as people, a dog, a rabbit, and a car. When the building fun is done, it can easily be converted to an arts and crafts table or one that can be filled with water for more play. It sits on stable legs that lock firmly in place, and the whole thing is easy to take apart for flat storage under a bed or taking to a playdate. As mentioned in our last update, be sure to supervise young children at all times during play, and also follow manufacturers’ age guidelines when giving bricks or other small toys to kids.

If you’ve got little Lego fanatics in your house and are tired of painfully stepping on stray bricks, why not contain all of those pieces in a table that provides storage? These useful pieces of pint-sized furniture also serve as a dedicated spot for your little ones to build their masterpieces. You’ll have your coffee table back again and they’ll enjoy having a special spot of their own. Our selection features some models that are compatible with standard Lego sets, some that accommodate the larger Duplo bricks or Mega Bloks, and some that will work with more than one of these options.

The Nilo 2-sided joins our selection as an American-made choice that comes with a two-sided board that can accommodate both Legos and Duplos. The base and legs are constructed from thick, solid hardwood, so it should last through the Lego phases of many a young child. When the building fun is done, just revert to the smooth, white melamine top for puzzles, Play-Doh, arts and crafts, or homework. Its surface is simple to wipe clean.
