The 7 Best Airprint Printers
This wiki has been updated 20 times since it was first published in November of 2018. If you're tired of digging out a USB cable every time you want to print something, or having to send a photo from your phone to your computer in order to get a physical copy of it, you might want to consider investing in one of these AirPrint printers. This technology allows you to print wirelessly from Apple computers, iPads and iPhones without having to plug anything in. Editor's Notes
September 10, 2020:
As Airprint makes its way tinto more and more printers, the variety of available options grows, so a category that once was primarily consumer-oriented includes more office-quality models with impressive duty cycles and high-yield toner. So the choice for anyone looking largely comes down to your needed uses. If you need multifunctionality, but not necessarily speed or pristine photo quality, something relatively simple like the HP Envy Pro 6455 is a compact and user-friendly option.
More professional needs can be satisfied by turning to models like the HP LaserJet Pro M283FDW or the Canon Imageclass Laser MF445DW, the latter of which can run at speeds reaching 40 pages per minute, with a large paper tray and a comprehensive interface that lets you set up tasks you regularly repeat to make them faster and easier to accomplish than they'd otherwise be.
One new model to the market that I'm particularly excited about is the Canon ImagePrograf Pro-300. It's been a minute since Canon came out with a truly pro-quality photo printer, and this one doesn't disappoint. It's a little pricey for the casual Instagram shooter looking to preserve their cell phone's finest, but if you own a real camera want to make prints for a lot less than photo shops will charge, this is the way to go.

Airprint technology is becoming more common with each new iteration of printers, so much of what would entice a customer to one over another has to do with their individual needs. Still, things like ink and paper tray capacity, as well as print speed and duty cycle, can easily be scrutinized. The Epson models on our list, for example, all earned their spots on the merits of the company's EcoTank system, in addition to a fast and reliable feed mechanism.
