The 9 Best Wireless Printers
This wiki has been updated 23 times since it was first published in December of 2017. Because wireless printers don't need to be tethered to any one device at a time, they can be shared by multiple users throughout an office or home, and can be placed virtually anywhere you want. There are options out there for professional photographers, busy lawyers, arts and crafts fans and everyone in between. We've ranked these options by ease of use, print resolution and speed. When users buy our independently chosen editorial recommendations, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki.
Editor's Notes
January 05, 2021:
For photos, the Canon PIXMA TS8320 and Epson Expression Photo HD XP-15000 are hard to beat, but they're not the best all-around models. The Brother MFC-J995DW and HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 both deliver good performance in just about all respects, and for a quality general-purpose color laser option, the Canon imageCLASS MF743Cdw is hard to beat. If you don't need a scanner, the HP Color LaserJet Pro M255dw is worth a look, and if you don't need color printing, the Brother HL-L2350DW is one of the most reliable and straightforward monochrome models out there.

The average home user who only prints the occasional resume or homework assignment will be happy to know that two of the newest additions to the list -- the HP OfficeJet 3830 and Canon TS5120 -- have a small footprint and offer a great value. Of the two, the OfficeJet ended up at the top of our list because despite its no frills design, it has an easy-to-use, minimalist touchscreen menu and above-average print quality.
Although the Epson Artisan 1430 didn't make our top five, it should be near the top of the candidate list for photographers and graphic artists, who can take full advantage of its advanced features and amazing printing abilities. Equipped with a six-ink cartridge system, this newcomer to the list can print better quality photos than your run-of-the-mill photo lab. It is certainly an investment, but for those who are serious about their craft, this machine won't force you to compromise your vision.
