The 10 Best Troll Toys

This wiki has been updated 24 times since it was first published in March of 2018. Most kids find it hard to resist the quirky charms of Trolls, the colorful creatures whose fuzzy heads added a touch of whimsy to many students' book bags long before the feature films inspired the latest toy craze. While they make the perfect gift for nearly any fan, Trolls always come with tiny accessories, so they're generally not safe for little ones under the age of four. When users buy our independently chosen editorial recommendations, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki.

Editor's Notes

May 26, 2020:

For this update, we made significant revisions, but most were made because the recent release of the "Trolls World Tour" movie means kids will be clamoring for updated styles and figurines to add to their collections.

Despite not having any real hair for kids to style, our number one pick is the Lego Hot Air Balloon Adventure. It isn't too difficult to build, so most kids will enjoy doing it without parental assistance, plus, once built, the unit stays together well, so it functions as a play set and not just something to display.

We replaced the Hug Time Poppy with the new Hug Time Harmony, because the newer version has two characters available instead of just Poppy, so when you purchase both they can harmonize a song together. But if the child only has one of the dolls, they still get a fun singing doll with loads of hair who also speaks dozens of phrases.

Because children love collecting everything to do with their favorite characters, we left some classic favorites like the Pod'ular Tree and Branch's Skate 'n Skitter.

The Pod'ular Tree provides a lot of spaces and pods for multiple 5-inch trolls, so kids can mix and match and trolls from any era. The Skate 'n Skitter is also similarly timeless because Branch can be removed from the skateboard, and any troll of the same size can go for a spin.
