Editor's Notes
February 01, 2021:
It was a fairly straightforward update, with the vast majority of our previous picks making it through the round. The only option we ended up eliminating, due to availability issues, was the NovoBlue 2-in-1, which we quickly replaced with the Gain Express 6-in-1 — a portable model that comes with a few useful extras, including a wrist strap and rigid storage case.
Depending on what your intentions are with this device, you might also be somebody who’s interested in checking out our rankings for pH testers and soil testers.

Added the Soeks EcoVisor F4 for its multifunctional design and easy-to-use touchscreen interface. The HM Digital DM-1 was one of the few inline options I found that can measure both input solution and output liquids for filtration/purification systems. Also included the Bluelab Guaradian for its dedicated hydroponics applications. The backlit LCD on the HoneForest Tester is capable of flashing both red and green, making alerts easy to tell apart from one another. Finally, added the Thomas Traceable for its chemical-resistant design and large, easy-to-read digits.
