Removed one item and made adjustments to several others. People often object to the flimsy screws that come with the Extreme Max Cradle, so if you opt for this model, you’ll probably want to pick up your own screws before you install it.
With regard to the StoreYourBoard 3, we mention specifically that it can support a kayak on its top shelf. Keep in mind, however, that there won’t be enough space on the bottom two levels to accommodate anything much thicker than a standard board. Slightly downgraded the Seattle Sports Wall, noting its thin padding and complaints about its small screws.
Added another tri-level rack to the list in the Yes4All Steel, which positions the arms at a slight angle so that it will take more than an accidental nudge to knock a board off of its perch. The Rad Sportz 1220, one of the other new additions, is a rock-solid choice for hanging a single paddleboard or kayak, with nylon straps for extra security.
