This wiki has been updated 28 times since it was first published in October of 2017. These rack mount models come in at a variety of prices with plenty of options to suit every need. The latest additions to our ranking include two upgrades and one replacement. The upgrades are two Furman units, namely the Furman PL-8C and the Furman M-8DX being swapped for two more recent iterations, the Furman M-8X AR and the Furman M4315-Pro, respectively. This is a brand that is at the forefront of power conditioner manufacture, and that regularly brings out new models, in keeping with technological advancements. This is none more evident than with their M4315-Pro unit, which can be remotely controlled and monitored online, using its integral BlueBolt IP system.
Lastly, we replaced the Samson PowerBrite PB15 with the Monoprice 15A. This good value brand has been turning out impressive electrical products for some time, and this model has high-end features, including a sequencer that gradually powers your equipment up or down, to prevent surge damage. It is also very reasonably priced, should you require several units to regulate a larger rack system.

A closer look at what the APC G-Type has to offer, from its incredibly informative LCD readout to its quartet of useful time delays, led us to move it all the way up to the second spot on our list. Taking the top spot is another previously underrated model, the Panamax MR-4300, which may not come with mounting ears to install in your rack, but that offers just about everything else you would want in a conditioner, including professional level noise filtration and a total of nine filtered outlets. Of course, the Furman M8DX holds a top slot and remains one of the most reliable choices for that brands loyalists, while their PL-8C is likely the best way to go if you're looking for something without a potentially distracting digital display.
