Editor's Notes

December 22, 2020:

Just as new phones come out every year, sometimes even more often it seems, so too do the cases we use to carry them A lot of changes were made during this update to ensure there would be options to fit the newest releases. We also made sure to have a nice variety of styles, from flip folios that offer full screen protection and have plenty of space for cash and cards, such as the Snakehive Vintage Folio S20, Lupa Pro Slim Flip, and Yogurt D-44 S10E, to minimalist options that adhere to the back of your phone or its current case, like the AgentWhiteUSA Stick On and Cubi CardNinja. We also included a sport model, in the Revere Sport Running Armband.

September 11, 2019:

Phone wallets may just be one of the most convenient accessories ever made for our mobile devices. They allow you to keep your cards or cash and phone together, so you never have to worry about accidentally forgetting one when you leave the house. Some even double as protective cases, too.

If all things minimalist appeal to you, then you'll want to check out the Kapotas AirStik, AgentWhiteUSA Stick On, and Cubi CardNinja. All of these adhere to your current case, or directly to the phone if you don't have a case, and hold a few cards, a bit of folded up cash, or some of both. Of these, the Kapotas AirStik is the most expensive, but we feel it is worth every penny because of its attractive design with contrasting stitching and exceptional handcrafted quality. Plus, it utilizes nano-sized suction cups to adhere to things, so anytime you get a new case, you simply peel it off your old one, wipe it with a bit of water, and it is ready to be attached again. While on the topic of excellent handcrafted quality, we want to mention the Snakehive Luxury, which is handmade in Europe of premium Nubuck leather.

For those who like to carry a lot of stuff with them, we have included the Pasonomi Folio and Harrms Leather. Both of these have zippered compartments with multiple pockets to store change, bills, and other small items, and also include detachable cases for your device. Additionally they have dedicated card slots and a transparent slot for IDs or photos.

The Snakehive Luxury, Fly Hawk Flip Folio, and ProCase Galaxy S8 straddle that middle ground. They are thin enough to slip in a pocket, yet should offer ample room to hold your cards and cash.

Special Honors

Casetify Crossbody Leather If you want your phone wallet to look like an elegant addition to your attire, the Casetify Crossbody is it. It features a gold chain and is crafted from a synthetic leather that looks just like the real thing, but you can feel good about carrying it because it's a cruelty-free product. casetify.com

Running Buddy Weekender The Weekender is a phone purse, rather then a wallet, so you don't need to compromise on your fashion sense just for the sake of efficiency. In addition to cash and cards, it has places to accommodate glasses and even a passport. Conveniently, it features a clear, touchscreen-compatible backing that allows you to interact with your device without having to remove it from its pocket. therunningbuddy.com
