2. 3M MA140MB

3. Ergotron LX Dual

Editor's Notes

January 22, 2021:

The Ergotron LX Single is generally viewed as the most reliable, and offers a better adjustment range than most others, although the Ergotron LX Dual is right there with it. The 3M MA140MB is significantly less costly, but not quite as maneuverable.

If you don't need that much maneuverability, the Vivo V012 is an especially affordable choice, and the Vivo V101G2 is essentially a blend of the fixed and articulating designs. And if you really want to save money, the EleTab Dual is definitely worth a look, although its fittings may need some minor adjustments, such as loosening or re-torquing, once it comes from the factory.

March 08, 2019:

I thought that ergonomics and adjustability were two of the most important values to consider when customizing this list. Many of the available options accommodate multiple monitors, which is great for collaborative or interactive work environments. That said, I did my best to balance aesthetics and functionality when making my choices. I also tried to find models that could appeal to different demographics (i.e. office professionals, gamers, etc.). The AmazonBasics Premium, for example, is an excellent value with plenty of practical applications, but without being fancy or showy. I figured the Jestik Trinity 3.0 might kick up the style a notch, given its modern design and 360-degree range of motion. The integrated cable management also comes in quite handy for hardcore gamers who may be using a variety of peripherals. Also added the EleTab Dual for its adjustable tension and gas spring hovering system, which works to counterbalance the weight of particularly large and heavy displays. I thought the VersaDesk Omniview was a pretty innovative contender, thanks to its notched mounting pole for seamless height adjustments. On the same topic, the Vivo Premium is a unique choice due to its use of a pull-down handle for the same type of customization. Although the TechOrbits SmartSwivel is a bit dated from 2017, I still thought it was worthy of inclusion because of its modern design and self-balancing limbs, making it easy to rotate up to 3 monitors in virtually any direction. Also included the Mount-It! Triple, as each of the arms is equipped with 4 separate adjustment points. It also includes built-in audio and usb ports.

4. Vivo V101G2

5. TechOrbits SmartSWIVEL

6. Vivo V012

7. EleTab Dual
