The 10 Best Bath Toys
This wiki has been updated 25 times since it was first published in January of 2017. Parents of young children know how difficult it is to get them to sit still while shampooing their little heads. Bath toys can help keep kids entertained, so you can clean them up with less of a fight. We found some that are so charming and intriguing, you may want to steal them for your own bath time. But, as always, keep a close eye on your kids when they bathe, and never leave them alone. When users buy our independently chosen editorial choices, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki.
Editor's Notes
March 22, 2019:
For a huge category with a lot of variety, it seems some of the most reliable toys are the rubberized animals that you don't have to worry about sinking. The ones with openings are a little more dangerous, as water can easily become trapped inside and create a mildew risk like you see in the Disney model at number 4. Really, this comes down to parents keeping their kids' toys clean and dry between uses, but it's important to note the possibility. Toys like the classic rubber ducky are a better bet if that's a concern for you, as it's sealed up and water-tight. Any items with an educational angle, like the musical set from Alex Toys, performed a little better than they might have otherwise, simply because they pose a learning advantage. At the end of the day, though, the adorable and sustainable nature of the Green Toys Rescue Boat was too good to resist.
