The 10 Best Anti-Static Vacuum Hoses
This wiki has been updated 19 times since it was first published in January of 2019. If you do a lot of woodworking or other messy contracting work, then you know how frustrating it can be having to constantly clear out the hose on your shop vac or dust collector. The anti-static models here are a good solution to that problem, as they're designed to prevent dirt and debris from clinging to their insides, thus preventing clogs. Editor's Notes
July 05, 2019:
Two of the more expensive models on this list — the Festool 201778 and the Mirka MVHA-5 — both have integrated power cords. This is the sort of feature that's pretty far from essential, yet nevertheless is likely to be seen as a godsend after extended use. Is it worth the considerable extra expense? That's up to you, but we felt that other models were superior at the core functions of the category while also being relatively inexpensive, which is why these two rank fairly far down the list.
Be sure to check the connections on the model you're considering before you buy. Some have universal connectors, while others are only compatible with a certain brand of dust collector.
The Fulton Helix nabbed our top spot because it offers a considerable amount of working length without sacrificing effectiveness. It's still very powerful even when fully extended, allowing you to move around your shop as necessary without suffering a dip in performance quality.
