The 6 Best Wireless Clothes Irons
This wiki has been updated 20 times since it was first published in January of 2019. A wrinkle-free outfit is a sign that you take pride in your appearance and handle your clothing with care. But ironing can be a pain, especially when your iron's power cord gets in the way, making pressing garments uncomfortable and awkward. Check out these cordless, or wireless, models, which allow for unhindered removal of unsightly creases in all your pants, shirts, linens and more. When users buy our independently chosen editorial selections, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki.

Because we're concerned that the Decen 2 In 1 doesn't offer adequate long-term durability for the cost, we've removed it at this time. For an option in the same price range, the Martisan 1500W is a better alternative to consider. It conveniently offers an indicator light that lets you know when it's ready for use, as well as a lock that holds the iron and the base together so you can move it from place to place with ease. Unfortunately, though, it can drip when you're using the steam feature on the lowest setting. This isn't a dealbreaker, necessarily, but if you are working with delicate fabrics, you'll want to be careful.
For an even more budget-friendly model, we kept the Sunbeam Versa Glide. This one needs frequent reheating, so it may not be the best option for quilters, who may want to rely on a more powerful choice, like the Panasonic 360º Freestyle Advanced, or even a traditional steam iron. The Panasonic Contoured is one to consider, as well, thanks to a smooth soleplate and detachable reservoir that is easy to fill without spills. Its snap-on carrying case is a nice touch that provides protection when you're not using it.

We made sure that going cordless didn't mean sacrificing function in any of our selections. Each one still creates a great amount of steam, can hold plenty of water in its tank, and reaches high temperatures. Maneuverability was also important, as well as the ability to customize the moisture and heat levels based on the garment being worked on.
