This wiki has been updated 19 times since it was first published in March of 2019. When you want to get your youngsters off of the couch and away from their screens, look no further than these wiggle scooters. They're great for both fun and exercise, and move forward with a little side-to-side movement from the rider. Their three wheels make them more stable than their two-wheeled cousins, making them an excellent choice for those with balance issues. When users buy our independently chosen editorial choices, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki.

Editor's Notes

March 05, 2021:

New to the list, the Razor PowerWing has a design that stands out from most wiggle scooters. Instead of two foot plates that act like a pair of skis, this one has a T-shape with a single board with two wheels in the back. Practically, though, it is ridden with a similar motion to other wiggle scooters and is still easier to balance on than a traditional scooter. Some may find this design better for performing certain tricks and others may simply prefer the look of it.

The Yvolution Carver C3 is also a good option for ambitious riders who want to master spins and drifting. It has a higher weight capacity than many, so kids won't be as likely to outgrow it, and it features strong anti-slip foot plates for extra safety.

If you live in an area where it frequently gets cloudy or foggy, or your kids are allowed to play outside after sunset, the Aodi Y Flicker is worth considering. This model features colorful LEDs in the back wheels, making it easy to spot in less-than-ideal lighting.

We removed the New Bounce GoScoot and the SmarTrike SkiScooter Z7 in this update due to availability issues.

April 08, 2019:

Selected the Aodi Speeder and Yvolution Fliker Lift as the top picks because both are sturdy enough to support adults as well as kids, making them a little more versatile than some other models. The Yvolution Fliker Lift edged out the Aodi Speeder because of its lower price point and its design elements, which make it easier to perform tricks. Included the smarTrike SkiScooter Z7 for its ability to mimic ski movements and sensations, which aggressive riders should appreciate.
