The 10 Best Travel Potty Seats
This wiki has been updated 24 times since it was first published in March of 2018. Graduating from diapers to a grown-up commode doesn't happen overnight, and having to perform on toilets designed for bigger bottoms can make the process a touch stressful for kids and parents alike. One of these travel-friendly potty seats can help make the transition a lot easier, whether the family is going on a vacation or if you're just always on the go with a youngster in tow. Editor's Notes
June 15, 2020:
For this update we added two padded choices, the Nickelodeon Paw Patrol and the Mommy's Helper Cushie Tushie, even though this sort of seat is not nearly as durable, parents of children with sensory issues often prefer a soft seat to cold hard plastic. Plus for any reluctant potty learner, the soft seat can give them one less excuse not to sit on the toilet.
We kept the OXO Tot 2-in-1 in the top spot because it provides two secure and comfortable ways to use this option. And thoughtful details like the soft tabs on the sides that make it quick and easy to secure a plastic liner in an emergency add to it's overall appeal.
While the Cool Gear Chair isn't a separate seat that can fit over a larger toilet, we decided it was worth including because of the neat way it folds up into a discreet case for transport. It's flat enough to be pack-able, although it wouldn't be helpful in cramped spaces like an airplane.
