Editor's Notes
June 01, 2020:
For a fast, easy way to refresh your decor, a tapestry is a good bet, as they can be hung quickly and give stunning results, especially when paired with fairy lights. We've kept a range of designs to suit various tastes, from simple to eclectic. As for those that are more reserved, the Sunm Boutique Palm Tree Leaves remains a fine choice, as it is representational and bright without being garish. The Qchengsan Sunset Forest is a safe option, as well, since it offers a calming natural scene that almost seems to bring a breath of fresh air to small apartments. Or, if you'd like something more abstract, consider the Original Gold Ombre by Labhanshi. It's gold, true, but the pattern isn't too wild, so it won't overwhelm the room.
On the brighter, more eye-catching side, we kept both the Jaipur Handloom Burning Sun and the Bless International Bohemian Hippie. It's worth noting that these are fun, colorful options, but their coloring tends to vary quite a bit from the photos. This doesn't mean they are unattractive, just that they may not match perfectly to very specific decor needs. We added the Alishomtll Gouache, as well, a bright print that would be right at home in an artist's loft. Like many, it can do double duty as a beach blanket, bedspread, tablecloth, and more. Just be careful to follow all washing instructions, as it, like most, can't handle aggressive cleaning techniques.

Anthropologie Petrichor Crafted from paper, the Anthropologie Petrichor covers an ample 39.5 square feet, so you can consider this striking floral choice if you're looking for a focal point or conversation piece. It has ample texturing for plenty of visual interest, but you'll need to provide your own hardware for hanging. anthropologie.com
Zazzle Custom If you can't find the design you want, or you need something that is completely personalized, the Zazzle Custom is the way to go. There are several sizes to select from, but no matter which you choose, you can add images and text, which are printed using a sublimation technique that offers bright, vivid colors. zazzle.com
The Metropolitan Museum of Art Unicorn in Captivity The Metropolitan Museum of Art Unicorn in Captivity is a reproduction of a famous, richly-detailed medieval hanging. Don't expect any sparkles, rainbows, or glitter from the titular horse, though, as this is a relatively somber piece. It is strong, too, thanks to a wool and cotton construction. store.metmuseum.org
