The 8 Best Slant Boards
This wiki has been updated 21 times since it was first published in February of 2019. If you have issues with tightness or limited mobility in your calves, ankles, and shins, or are recovering from a torn Achilles tendon, one of these slant boards can help to stretch and strengthen lower leg muscles, which may also reduce the risk of future injuries. However, remember to always consult your doctor before beginning any at-home addition to your physical therapy regimen. Editor's Notes
February 15, 2021:
We made it a priority during this update to remove models that were essentially identical, even if they came from different companies. This led to us eliminating the Flybold Non-Slip and Liberty Imports Professional, both of which don't offer anything different than the PaceEarth Professional. In fact, the Liberty model even lacked handles. There is also an added benefit found in the PaceEarth Professional that neither of the other two offer, and that is the included resistance band and metal U-ring to attach it to, making it a more versatile model overall.
We also got rid of the Liberty Imports Wooden, which has no notable difference in construction materials, size, or usage than the Rolling With It Adjustable, which we kept. The StrongTek Incline Extra-Large may appear similar at first glance to the PaceEarth Professional, however it is bigger, so you'll have more foot placement options.
While wood models with grip tape are aesthetically pleasing, they do have a downside in that they can be hard to clean. If you need something for a commercial facility that you want to be able to easily sanitize, the Cando Ankle is a smart choice. Its plastic material won't absorb bacteria and is incredibly strong, so the heaviest of people can use it without worry of it breaking.

Included a variety of styles, sizes, and price points. The StrongTek Incline is the largest option on our list, with the Liberty Imports Wooden coming in at a close second, and the latter has the added benefit of a locking mechanism for safety. The Liberty Imports Professional and Core Prodigy Calf Stretch are the lightest of the wooden models, making them good selections for those who can't (or don't want to) lug around too much weight when setting up for their exercise routine. The Balance 1 Multi and StrongTek Wedge are both inexpensive and much smaller than the wooden models, which is great for portability, but they can't support as much weight and probably won't work for users with larger feet.
