Editor's Notes
June 18, 2020:
A seat belt cover can solve a variety of problems for drivers and their passengers. Drivers won't be looking for much padding as there should be zero chance that they will be using the product as a pillow or place to rest their head. For drivers the best options are the Tatuo 4-Pack or the Waterproof Seat Shield. The Seat Shield is quite different from most seatbelt covers because it provides no padding, but it's 20 inches long so even with shifting, this option should keep the necked protected from scratching. It's also ideal in the summer months as the fabric wicks away sweat.
For this update we replaced the Ilyever 4 Pack with the Tatuo 4-Pack because the quilted Tatuo has a bit more padding, but still remains slim and unobtrusive. We also like that it comes in neutrals and fun colors.
Many times the cause of discomfort with a seatbelt is the occupant is smaller and shorter than the average adult and the belt simply won't rest where it should. If the misplacement is too far off, this can cause safety issues with the belt not performing as it should in an accident. We added the Monch Car Pillow set because the included adjuster allows you to position the shoulder belt where it belongs and can even been used without the pillow.
Passengers, especially the tiny ones, often fall asleep in cars, so some seat belt covers can function as a pillow and can even help prevent the slump-over position that looks so uncomfortable. The Prielle Dinogreen is so large that kids can hug it and rest their head instead of slumping forward.
