The 10 Best Rolling Tool Totes
This wiki has been updated 30 times since it was first published in April of 2017. For the professional craftsperson or contractor, it is not always necessary to carry around the whole workshop to get the job done, but even a limited amount of gear can be heavy, especially over the course of a long week. These rolling tool totes are a convenient, painless way to get everything needed for each specific job to the site, thanks to handy wheels and plenty of storage capacity. When users buy our independently chosen editorial recommendations, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki.
Editor's Notes
March 01, 2019:
Currently, it's still hard to beat the Husky Pro Grade 22 Inch, which offers plenty of usability and is pretty sleek looking, to boot. In fact, it works just as well for the casual DIYer as it does for those who make a living with tools. The Klein Tools Tradesman Pro does come close, though, and its bright orange lining for visibility is a nice touch. Of course, these are both on the more expensive side, so we added the Stark USA Elite Wide Mouth and the Horusdy Tool Backpack for those who're counting pennies. They're not as robust, so don't plan on banging these around a job site all willy-nilly. Finally, after some thought, we decided to leave the Stanley 3-in-1 WorkShop. It won't take a beating like some options, but many do prefer it for around-the-home use.
