June 16, 2020:
If you've ever wondered how those NFL pros make the most amazing one-handed catches that seem to defy the laws of physics, tacky receiving gloves like those on this list are the answer. We aren't belittling the countless hours they've spent training, which, of course, are also a major factor, but we'd be willing to bet many of those astounding catches never would have been if they weren't wearing a pair of great receiver gloves.
The first thing you'll have to decide before buying a pair, is if your prefer something with a very thin and lightweight construction that feels like you are hardly wearing anything, or if you would prefer something that has a thicker material and perhaps even a bit of padding.
Most receivers will often immediately lean towards pairs that fall into the former category, as they offer the benefit of increased grip, with minimal interference in how the [football](https://wiki.ezvid.com/best-footballs_ feels in the hand. The Under Armour F7, Nike Vapor Knit 2.0, and Battle Ultra-Stick Pro-Style all fall firmly into this category. Those who generally play in very hot climates should lean towards the Nike Vapor Knit 2.0, as they offer a high level of air flow, while if you plan in more temperate climates you may want to look to the Under Armour F7. While all three are extremely tacky, the makers of the Battle Ultra-Stick Pro-Style boast that they are as sticky as legally allowed for regulation play.
If you prefer something with a bit more material, the Adidas Freak 4.0 and Adidas Adizero 8.0 immediately stand out. The Freak 4.0 feature padding on the back to help prevent against injury, though nowhere near as much as lineman gloves, yet are constructed in a way so as not to interfere with finger dexterity, which is something any receiver can appreciate. That being said, the Adizero 8.0 may actually wind up with a better fit over time because the material is designed to adapt to the shape and structure of your hand.
We understand that for young beginners just starting out who aren't 100-percent sure they will stick with the game, a name brand pair might be a bit more money then they are willing to spend. With those users in mind, we have included the Seibertron Pro Elite and Franklin Youth Receiver Gloves. While you'll certainly never see either of these on the hands of the pros, they get the job done well enough for rookies, without being too hard on the wallet.

Removed Under Armour Nitros and Nike Vapor Jets due to concerns about availability. Added Adidas Adizero, the 7.0, because it's a quality item from a respected brand.
