Editor's Notes
October 23, 2020:
Depending on the frequency with which various cleaning tasks are performed, having a good pressure washer is a necessity when it comes to blasting away grime and debris from large and hard-to-reach surfaces. Furthermore, if you need to access high locations with the machine, then it becomes rather impractical and inconvenient to use a ladder to reach the area or be forced to depend on an ordinary garden hose to finish the task. These versatile spray guns can direct powerful streams of water (and soap) into all those nooks and crannies at high pressures, significantly reducing the amount of time and effort required to get the job done.
We've removed both the Tool Daily Long and Rexway Snow Foam models due to availability issues.
We also decided to replace the MTM Hydro SG35 with the MTM Hydro SGS28, as this one is made of shockproof reinforced plastic ribbing with Loctite adhesive for preventing leaks.
Both the Raptor Blast Combo and General Pump YG5000 are ideal for use with hot pressure washers, as they can both withstand temperatures of at least 300 degrees Fahrenheit. The latter of these two options also has an extra-large hand grip area that comes in handy when cleaning with thick gloves.
The detachable wand on the Apache 2600 can provide an adjustable stream angle between 0 and 80 degrees.
Also newly added this year is the Yamatic Spray Gun with a flow rate of 10 gallons per minute and built-in vents for heat dissipation.
Capable of being paired with foam cannons, the Dusichin DUS-022 comes with five color-coded nozzles and a short nose that makes it easy to maneuver into tight spaces like vehicle wheel wells.
The Karcher VersaGrip is ideal for cleaning high places like ceilings, thanks to its shoulder stock and dual-action trigger.
Finally, we've included the M Mingle Universal for its 14- and 15-millimeter fittings, adjustable length, and 1/4-inch quick connector for attaching additional accessories.
March 19, 2019:
While including a bunch of accessories is always welcome, that didn't factor into our decision-making nearly as much as the performance of the gun itself, which is why the Raptor Blast was our #1 selection. It's incredibly powerful while still being easy to handle, reducing the time you need to spend spraying. Among the accessory-laden option, the Briggs & Stratton model's included O-rings are incredibly useful, even if they might not be as fun as a variety of spray tips. Still, if you finish the job relatively dry, you'll have them to thank. The Rexway Snow Foam is a highly-specialized model, as it's perhaps the best on this list at washing cars, but may struggle a bit with other applications.
