The 8 Best Ninja Lines
This wiki has been updated 27 times since it was first published in December of 2018. American Ninja Warrior has taken the country by storm. What started as an obscure Japanese tournament has garnered a near-fanatical following of people who hope to one day conquer the challenging Mount Midoriyama. These ninja lines can help kids begin their training at a young age. Even those who don't aspire to one day be on the show will find these a fun, healthy, and engaging activity. When users buy our independently chosen editorial choices, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki.
Editor's Notes
October 19, 2020:
We probably don't have to remind you, but even the safest ninja lines are not without risk, especially when compared to many other leisure activities you could pursue outdoors, whether that's playing chess or drawing on your sidewalks with chalk. That's why you'll need to read and heed all instructions and safety warnings that come with whichever ninja line you ultimately choose. Remember to pay close attention to installation instructions and weight limits, as injuries caused by improper installation are generally preventable.
With that said, when it comes to choices for beginners, we've selected the Cateam Backyard and the B Branton Course. Because both of these include a swing, they can entice users who don't have a lot of strength or patience for difficult obstacles; the Cateam model even has a rope ladder, which could help encourage timid users to get started. We kept the Slackers Intro, as well, but note that it's not the best for absolute newbies, despite the name.
As for options that present a satisfying challenge, the American Ninja Warrior Deluxe still comes out on top, while the Slackers Pro is a great alternative. The latter is especially tough, as the obstacles require a strong grip and good coordination. Or, if these options are still too easy, consider instead the Rainbow Craft Line, which is a handy component you could use in creating an obstacle course of just about any difficulty you can imagine - as long as you provide the obstacles, as it doesn't come with any.

Safety was a top priority when selecting the best ninja lines. We made sure to only include models with a high weight limit to support users of all sizes, and with high-quality stitching to ensure they last through years of use.
