The 10 Best Nike Shoes For Men
This wiki has been updated 29 times since it was first published in July of 2018. Seemingly overnight — and with a lot of help from some basketball player named Mike — Nike went from just another shoe company to the biggest name in the business. Today, they make more than just footwear for the court, as men can find options suitable for running, hiking, lifting, and everything in between. You can even find shoes that are perfect for those days when you just don't want to do it. When users buy our independently chosen editorial picks, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki.
Editor's Notes
June 16, 2020:
Nike has always been one of the most popular brands in the world, and while their initial popularity came about largely because of basketball shoes, they make all different types today, and they generally do a very good job. The Air Force 1 are a 2007 re-release of one of the company's highly popular 1982 flagship, while the Lebron Soldier XIII represent some of the flashiest and most well-known modern releases. The Air Max LTD 3 have a similarly iconic style but are more comfortable for many wearers thanks to their low-top design. If you're looking for a good-looking, standout shoe that's not terribly flashy, a the Lebron 17 would be a good choice.
They're also increasingly well known for their running shoes, and of those, the Zoom Pegasus 35 are some of the most popular and offer quite a bit of support. The Max Torch 4 are decidedly more minimalist, with a low-cut profile and wide toe box that's great for long distances. Neither is anywhere near as minimalist as the Air Zoom Terra Kiger 5, which are some of the nicest trail runners you can buy. The Air Huarache are pretty flashy and also built to fit each person's foot individually, along with an above-average amount of ventilation.
If you don't need something quite as light as a running shoe, the Lunar Fingertrap are worth a look in part because of their woven uppers, durable construction, and versatile design. The SB Check Solarsoft, on the other hand, are on the opposite end of the spectrum from high-end athletic shoes, as they're an understated yet high-quality pair of skateboard kicks.
