Editor's Notes

July 14, 2019:

Whether you take your coffee addiction seriously, or simply have a fun collection of mugs you want to display, we think these mug trees will help you keep your kitchen pleasantly organized. We still like the Spectrum Euro for those who don't want anything too fussy, and we've added the LifeGrip Rack as a fairly similar option — but one featuring bamboo construction rather than metal. If you want something slightly larger and more eye-catching, we still like the somewhat expensive Montana Woodworks Glacier Country. It has all the charm of a handmade item as well as a 20-year warranty, making it both attractive and practical.

Finally, a word about the Gourmet Basics by Mikasa French Countryside. If you need the storage space, perhaps for cream and sugar or reusable K-cups, it will provide; however, it has an unfortunate tendency to tip forward when filled to capacity with heavy mugs. To ensure the safety of your coffee cups, you may wish to anchor it to the wall securely, although this does make it harder to move on a whim.

Black Forest Decor Cast Iron Horseshoe The Black Forest Decor Cast Iron Horseshoe isn't for everyone, but for anyone with a Western or rustic theme, it might just fit the bill. You'll need a fair amount of room to display it, as it's nearly 22 inches tall from the base to the star topper. blackforestdecor.com
