Whether you're looking for an entry-level set to gift to a child or are a devoted fan looking for collector's editions, our offerings should have you covered. You'll find American and British publications in various forms, with art from a diverse pool of talented illustrators. And if you're looking for more fantastical novels in the vein of Harry Potter for a youngster in your life, check out our list of memorable magical realism books for kids.
We brought on three new selections today. First, we supplanted the old illustrated editions we had for the Harry Potter: The Illustrated Collection, which includes the first three books rather than the first two. These are published by Bloomsbury, and so are the UK editions. They are lavishly illustrated in full color, with excellent depictions of settings, like Diagon Alley, creatures like Fawkes, main characters, and secondary ones like the Dursleys. This one adds depth to the story and brings it alive, making it a solid choice for children you want to endear to the series.
On the opposite side, we added the Harry Potter Adult Edition, also a UK printing, which follows a much more stylistic and mature theme. These hardcovers are black beneath colorful dust jackets that aren't overly playful or childish.
Finally, we added the Juniper Books Harry Potter Custom, which contains brand new American hardback editions with Gryffindor, Slytherin, or Hufflepuff themed dust jackets. Be aware that these are not to be confused with the special anniversary house editions that have bespoke covers and interior art, as those are only available as separate volumes and not in a boxed set. This one is a solid choice if you want a hardy collection that stands apart from other American editions. It is rather pricey, though, compared to similar sets, so be aware that the dust jackets themselves are available separately if that's all you're interested in.

Given that we recently passed a milestone marking the original release of the books, it seemed fitting to add a collector's edition, and the gorgeous Harry Potter 20th Anniversary set fit the bill. It has striking and unique visuals while simultaneously recreating the original feel of the first-edition books, making it perfect for newbies while also being something that fans would want to add to their collections. And while The Hogwarts Library doesn't contain any of the novels themselves, it's a wonderful companion piece to them, and something that any enthusiast can get lost in for hours at a time.
