Editor's Notes
November 26, 2020:
With this update, we've had to remove the GBlife 8600, as it's currently unavailable. And although you can still find the Polti PTNA0019 if you look hard enough, it doesn't live up to the hype, especially considering the price, so we've removed it, too. But it should come as little surprise that the Bissell Spinwave still comes out on top. From carpet cleaners to steam mops, Bissell makes reliable machines with plenty of thoughtful touches. This particular cordless model offers a storage tray, 20 minutes of run time per charge, and washable pads that save you some cash and reduce the amount of waste you produce.
Speaking of household waste, we've opted to include the Swiffer WetJet Starter Kit, even though it relies on disposable pads, batteries, and bottles of solution. If you're concerned with being green, in other words, this isn't your best bet. If you have a large and bustling household, however, and need the convenience it offers, it may be worthy of consideration.
Other new additions to this list include the Karcher FC 3, from a trusted company that offers cleaning technology for both at-home and commercial use, and the Shark Vacmop Pro. Much like the Mr. Siga 3-in-1, the Shark model can suck up dirt and hair; but, despite both being called "vacuums," they aren't really designed for use on carpets. You'll still need a high-quality vacuum for your rugs.

This list comprises cordless mops that are battery operated and rechargeable. We've included options that have spray and steam functionality, in addition to extendable poles to meet the needs of users of different heights. We've also prioritized those that work well when used on several hard surface types.

iRobot Braava Jet M6 If you're tired of mopping, why not opt for a cordless unit that can do the work for you? The iRobot Braava Jet M6 is smart enough to navigate your hard floors with ease, and can even learn that there are certain areas into which it shouldn't stray thanks to "Keep Out Zones." It even docks itself when it's running low on juice, so there's one less thing for you to think about. irobot.com
Samsung Jet 75 with Jetbot Mop Bundle The Samsung Jet 75 with Jetbot Mop Bundle is certainly pricey, but it puts both a cordless stick vacuum and a mopping robot at your disposal. The former is very lightweight and maneuverable at only 6 pounds, while the latter doesn't require any pushing or pulling from you at all — although the mop does offer a handheld mode that can make short work of grimy tile. samsung.com
