This wiki has been updated 26 times since it was first published in December of 2016. If having a welcoming and chic home interior is important to you, but your budget won't allow for any major renovations, brick wallpaper can be the perfect low-cost compromise. Depending on the style and color, it can transform a room into a romantic setting, a casual nook or a bold arena. We've included both peel-and-stick and glue-on options, so there's something for everyone. When users buy our independently chosen editorial choices, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki.
Editor's Notes
March 25, 2019:
Because we wanted options for both renters and homeowners, we selected both simple peel-and-stick, pre-pasted options as well as more permanent glued choices. For the former, it's tough to beat the York Up the Wall and the Cavalier Wall Liner Tuscan. They're both realistic enough to give you professional-looking results, and neither is prohibitively expensive. For an even more budget-friendly alternative, there's the SiCoHome Exposed, although it doesn't have quite the same realistic appearance. If you're okay with using wallpaper paste, then the HaokHome Faux Textured or Vopie 3D Stone are fine options. They do look more like stones than traditional red bricks, however, which may or may not be suitable. Also, the Vopie option does indeed call itself 3D, but this refers more to the look, so you shouldn't expect it to protrude or have a lot of texture.
