Anyone who has ever cared for an infant is probably familiar with the concept of a bottle brush, but they're not just a helpful aid for beleaguered parents. If, at the end of each day, your kitchen sink is full of reusable beverage containers, sippy cups with plastic lids, delicate glassware, or other items you hesitate to put in the dishwasher, then you should check out these convenient options. When users buy our independently chosen editorial recommendations, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki.

Editor's Notes

September 08, 2019:

At this time we have kept a wide selection of bottle brushes, so there’s something for everyone, whether you’re cleaning an infant’s bottle or your collection of eco-friendly water bottles. We still like models from Oxo, Hiware, and the ever-popular Dr. Brown's, but we also decided to add a couple of choices made with different materials, the Bürstenhaus Redecker Horsehair and Kitchiny Silicone. We especially like that the latter can be sanitized easily, since part of keeping your bottles clean is ensuring that you’re using a clean brush. But the head is small and it doesn’t create as much foam as many, drawbacks that might be deal-breakers for some users.

Also, we decided to remove the Arti Gifts 360 due to availability issues, and opted not to keep any models from The Crown Choice, even though their updated version has more bristles at the tip. Although this upgrade addresses what was a big problem with the original version, it still struggles to compete with other (sturdier) choices.
