The 10 Best Bike Cup Holders
This wiki has been updated 22 times since it was first published in January of 2018. You know what makes a bicycle ride even more enjoyable? The ability to sip on your favorite beverage, of course. Whether it's coffee on your morning commute or water to keep you hydrated on a long jaunt, one of these bike cupholders will ensure that drink is close at hand. You can even adjust many of them to accommodate bottles, mugs, or thermoses. Don't forget a tight-fitting lid for safety. Editor's Notes
November 11, 2020:
For this update we chose the Kemimoto Universal as a top recommendation because it has been upgraded with a deeper and wider opening, expanding it's range to accommodate bottles up to 32 ounces. The larger size means a little more room in the mesh pockets for the ever-growing cell phone sizes, and they added a fourth strap for a more secure mount. It is still available in the smaller size as well.
The Ibera Mount still remains a favorite because of its minimalist style and secure grip on the tapered cups it is designed for.
We also added the Ultimate Bike Caddy with molded slots to house keys and phones. For riders who prefer fitted workout gear, and don't want to be hindered by objects in their pockets, this unit offers another solid choice for anyone who wants their cell phone handy.

Because travel cups and tumblers come in different shapes and sizes, it's tough to say which bike cup holder is the best in each and every circumstance; however, we still like the Ibera Mount — with one caveat. This particular model is designed only for tapered containers, so you can't place a typical water bottle in it, as it will fall through. But when you consider the low price and ease of attachment, it's worth it for those users who generally stick to these types of cups.
For a more standard, round shape, there's the NipEaze Bicycle, which has been upgraded; it now features a metal mounting bracket that should solve most users' issues with slippage. It's currently only available in silver, so if you're looking for something more colorful, there's the Kroozie 2.0. Offered in plenty of stylish colors, it is a simple cup holder with a foam insert for insulation. Some find tightening it securely to be tough, though. Finally, we removed the model from Acmise-US due to concerns over its long-term durability. If you're looking for something fairly similar, you might consider the Delta Cycle Grande instead.
Special Honors
Handle Stash Classic This shock-absorbing cup holder looks like a small drawstring nylon rucksack, but inside are built-in elastic compresses that absorbs bumps and allows you to keep your whole drink in the cup. The drawstring adds extra security no matter how narrow the container. handlestash.com
Mountain Feedbag The versatile, lightweight Mountain Feedbag is a favorite amongst endurance riders and is ideal for anyone who will be far from civilization for hours on end. The interior padding offers great insulation and also makes it a safe way to carry a camera lens.
