The 9 Best Beach Umbrella Anchors
This wiki has been updated 22 times since it was first published in February of 2018. When you're reclining next to the ocean with a good book and a fruity drink, the last thing you need is to chase your sunshade down the beach every time there's a strong gust of wind. With both screw-in and weighted designs, these umbrella anchors offer the perfect solution, allowing you to kick back, relax, and enjoy that sea breeze. Some are great for parks and back yards, too. Editor's Notes
October 09, 2019:
At this time, we've decided to remove the Ammsun Stake over concerns about its long-term durability, as well as the ZZMonster Heavy-Duty and the Buoy Beach Bag over problems with availability. But we've added the Ostrich Shade Anchor, which is similar to the latter. We like that it works as a bag as well as an anchor, although it's frustrating that not all of the advertised colors are easy to find. We selected the AugHog AugBrella Commercial, too, a sturdy, simple choice that's used by resorts and hotels. It's a little pricey, but it's more durable than some of the flimsy plastic models that claim to be similar. Finally, we opted to add one anchored umbrella, the Sport-Brella Vented. It has an integrated anchoring system, so there's no need to purchase multiple pieces. Of course, if you've already invested in a high-quality beach umbrella, it may be more than you want to spend; if you haven't yet selected, it might be the all-in-one choice for you.

Realtree Xtra TailBrella You'll need to set up your shaded area by your truck with the Realtree Xtra TailBrella, but because it attaches to any 2-inch hitch receiver, you know it's sturdy. Plus, it comes with an umbrella, so there's no need to stress over whether the pole will fit in the anchor. shop.tailbrella.com
