Editor's Notes
September 25, 2020:
In selecting our baby snow boots, we kept in mind that, approaching the one-year mark, little ones may start to stand and walk. We also understood that most babies will not actually trek through wet and icy grounds, so many of our selections have materials primarily meant to keep tiny feet warm, but not necessarily dry. That being said, we also included a few that do have water-resistant properties. A diverse range of styles was also important.
We immediately eliminated the The North Face Alpenglow because it does not come in sizes for infants, but rather toddlers. In its place came the Bogs B-moc, which have rubber soles, good support, and plenty of insulation for munchkins ready to play in the snow. We also removed the Livebox Premium during this update, because we decided instead to include the shoe it is clearly designed after - the Ugg Erin 5205. We saw no reason to keep an imitation when we could include the real thing, complete with sheep fur lining and suede uppers.
The Kamik Snow and the Stonz Three Season were both fine waterproof options, but we removed them to make room for the Molehill Cold Weather, which have more reliable closures and better adjustability. If you want something that's water-resistant with anti-skid properties for new walkers to get their footing indoors, and wear in a stroller outdoors, the Enteer Infant Premium and the Kuner Newborn KG-02 are good picks. The Cencirily First Walker WinterShoes and the Hongteya Moccasins are also useful for youngsters learning to move around on their own two feet, thanks to the traction on their soles.
For those looking for shoes made of soft materials that are meant just for indoor or stroller use, but will certainly keep toes warm and toasty, there are the Lngry Rainbow Crib Shoes and the Weixinbuy Winter Crib Shoes.

Replaced the Carter's Vermont with the Livebox Soft Sole due to availability issues. Checked to ensure that a range of sizes are represented.
