This wiki has been updated 27 times since it was first published in February of 2019. Whether you tour the open road for hours on end or you like to hit the trails for some dirt biking every now and then, you're going to want to protect your hands as well as possible. The motorcycle gloves on our list will all do a great job of that, and we've included some models with additional features, like battery-operated heating elements and capacitive touchscreen compatibility. Editor's Notes
February 12, 2019:
Name brands like BMW and Dainese seem to offer the best combination of function and comfort, but there's still the question of style to consider in a pair of gloves, and unless you're riding super bikes on a track or dirt bikes out in the wilderness, you might want something with a little more flair. For those purposes, companies like Indie Ridge and Shima offer some really nice products. There's also a litany of less selections out there that aren't going to last terribly long, but that will easily reject any debris that kicks up during a ride, or that might offer something convenient like a little bit of heating. As a long-time rider who likes to gut it out on cold days even as my hands turn to ice, I can certainly see the benefit of some heated mitts.
