This wiki has been updated 25 times since it was first published in December of 2018. For some people, regular work gloves just won't cut it. If your job requires you to weld, toss around sharp metal objects, wield knives, or anything else that could potentially land you in the ER with a serious hand injury, these Kevlar-reinforced pairs should give you all the protection you need. In addition to being tough and durable, they're also flexible, and many even manage to be stylish. When users buy our independently chosen editorial recommendations, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki.
Editor's Notes
December 27, 2018:
The primary advantages of Kevlar is the fabric's cut- and heat-resistance, and so the list tried to reflect models that excelled in either or both areas. Puncture-resistance can be hit-or-miss, so many selections that also proved superior in that regard were rated more highly than their counterparts.
