This wiki has been updated 15 times since it was first published in November of 2018. The Amateur Softball Association of America not only sets standards for equipment, but tests and certifies specific items in order to keep an accurate list of approved gear. We've compiled a list of bats that can be used for slow-pitch or fast-pitch without violating the guidelines set by the organization, ensuring fair play in your league while allowing you to hit for power. When users buy our independently chosen editorial picks, we may earn commissions to help fund the Wiki.

1. Miken MF20MA Freak

2. Easton Rival

3. Mizuno Jennie Finch

Editor's Notes

December 10, 2018:

Though many of the selections here are newer models, new is not always better when it comes to softball. This is because the most important aspect of all these choices is that they are ASA approved. Changes in manufacturing, along with changes in guidelines, can mean that the newer version no longer works with your league. It's a good idea to check the rules before you get too used to any new equipment.

4. DeMarini 2019 Juggy

5. Mizuno F19 Carbon 2

6. Easton Pink Sapphire

7. DeMarini 2015 Flipper Aftermath

8. Easton Hammer

9. DeMarini ONE OG

10. Miken MRVALL
